The 87-acre Wildcat Preserve includes managed pine/broadleaf forest, borders the Souhegan River, and features the famous Wildcat Falls. A Public Safety for Nature power line runs through the property, creating a great area for birdwatching and wild blueberry picking. A fire-cleared area offers stunning views of the Souhegan River and the chance to spot the rare American falcon and other wildlife.
Horse Hill Nature Preserve is a vast area of ​​approximately 563 acres, encompassing gently sloping to moderately steep terrain and two hills reaching approximately 400 feet (about 122 meters) in height. The land was cleared for pasture many years ago, has been repeatedly logged, and now consists primarily of mixed hardwood forest with trees ranging in age from 20 to 60 years.
